Democrats urge Crist to veto SB 6
From Sen. Charlie Justice, D-St. Petersburg (and running for Congress): “Senate bill 6 is the wrong legislation at the wrong time for our state. From Sen. Dave Aronberg, D-Greenacres (and running for attorney general): "This legislation is not about reform. It is about punishment of teachers. It is based on the arrogant view that Tallahassee bureaucrats and politicians are better suited to guide a child's education than their teachers, principals and parents."
From Sen. Dan Gelber, D-Miami Beach (also running for attorney general): "The problem with this bill is it assumes the best way to weed out bad teachers is to assume all teachers are bad." Read more here.
