Dropout prevention summit comes to Clearwater

Have some ideas for how Florida can reduce its student dropout rate? Looking for some methods to keep kids in school?

The Florida Department of Education's Dropout Prevention Summit might be the place for you. See the conference program for details.

Scheduled to run Jan. 12-13 at the Belleview Biltmore Resort and Spa in Clearwater, the event aims to increase public awareness of Florida's dropout problems and to identify current and potential collaborative efforts to promote student achievement and graduation.

The summit is free and open to the public. But you do have to register online.
