FAMU: Test forms are coming
A FAMU professor told The Gradebook last week that the FAMU testing center has been out of stock test forms - forms that professors need to give tests to students - for at least two weeks, and that the national company that provides them, Pearson, told the prof it's because FAMU was behind on its bills. The Gradebook asked FAMU about it Thursday, and got a response from FAMU spokeswoman Sharon Saunders late yesterday. Saunders said the account with Pearson is now up to date, and that test forms are scheduled to be delivered today.
It's unclear how long the test center has been out of forms; how long FAMU was behind on its bills; how much FAMU owed Pearson; and how many classes were affected. FAMU officials have not responded to those questions. The Gradebook is also awaiting a response from Pearson.
