SCHOOL GRADES GALORE: Pinellas weathers the tougher criteria, F schools in Hillsborough improve, Pasco has plenty of points of pride and Hernando slips a bit.

FRUSTRATED SUPERINTENDENT: For the second time in a month, Hernando superintendent Bryan Blavatt warns School Board members that they’re cramping his leadership style.
 
ON THEIR OWN: In an effort to chip away at a budget deficit, the Hernando board opts to nix courtesy bus service for students who live within two miles of school.
