Former Lacoochee Elementary principal to leave Pasco school district
After being removed as Lacoochee Elementary School principal, Karen Marler was reassigned to work with migrant families in eastern Pasco County.
She never reported to the post, based at Pasco High School. And she won't, superintendent Heather Fiorentino told the Gradebook.
After using about three weeks of her vacation, through the end of October, Marler will resign from the district. Fiorentino said Marler brought a letter to the district office Monday, but that they had not spoken. The School Board is scheduled to accept Marler's resignation this evening.
