Fury over flags at California high school
Usually, kids get in trouble at school for wearing t-shirts that have controversial messages or images. At one California school, that image turned out to be the American flag.
Four teens wore t-shirts showing the U.S. flag on Cinco de Mayo, and were sent home to avoid causing a disruption with students celebrating the Mexican heritage holiday. One administrator called the shirts "incendiary."
Now the school's students, and the community at large, are trying to show they all get along and this is one big misunderstanding.
