Gee, thanks, kid
It's the end of the school year, a time when appreciative students give their favorite teachers thank-you gifts for the year gone by.
Things like, books, coffee cups, gift cards and ... guns?
The Palm Beach Post reports that one Palm Beach Gardens elementary teacher received a loaded .22-caliber handgun from a student on Tuesday. An initial investigation suggests that the student handed a gift box of toiletries that also included the weapon outside the school. The child's grandmother said she was unaware that the gun was included.
Any suggestions for appropriate year-end gifts as the school year winds down? Teachers, what's been your most memorable one?
