A good sign
FAMU's official numbers for undergrad enrollment this fall won't be in for another week or so, but student affairs vice president Roland Gaines said freshman enrollment is up by about 200 students over last fall - a good sign for this historically black college, which has suffered declining enrollment in recent years.
"We're pleased with that," Gaines said. "It's a good situation."
