Jeffrey "Dale" Oliver is the newest addition to the St. Petersburg College Board of Trustees.

Oliver, 53, is vice president of Power Grid Engineering and was a vice president at Progress Energy from 2001-2012. He serves on the Board of Trustees for St. Anthony's Hospital.

A graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology and Georgia State University, Oliver has been appointed to a term ending in May 2015. His appointment still requires confirmation by the Florida Senate.
