Grade corrections for 18 schools in Pinellas County

23

July

As has been reported widely since Friday, the state issued incorrect grades for more than 200 schools statewide this year. They alerted superintendents about the mistakes Friday and then issued a press release after 10 p.m. that day. My colleague, Marlene Sokol, followed up on this news Saturday, writing about the 18 affected schools in Pinellas County. (See that story here.) Grade changes for other counties are listed elsewhere on the Gradebook.

We're following up with the state Department of Education today to find out how many schools had their grades revised last year and what caused the miscalculation this year. The press statement Friday didn't say and further information hasn't been released.

Here's the list of affected schools in Pinellas County: (The new grade comes first.)
