Grade inflation in AP classes?
Buried in yesterday's St. Petersburg Times story about teacher-by-teacher AP results in Pinellas was this interesting tidbit: Most of the students in one AP teacher's class earned A's and B's even though not a single student passed the AP exam. In fact, not a single one of the 24 students in that class scored beyond a 1 on the test. Does it make sense for students to get top grades in their AP class, yet bomb the AP test?
