Add presidential campaign county chairwoman to Heather Fiorentino's list of political titles.

Fiorentino, Pasco County's first-term elected schools superintendent, confirmed Thursday that she had agreed to head Rudy Giuliani's Pasco effort leading up to the 2008 primary. "I believe in Rudy. I think he's going to do a great job as president," said Fiorentino, who also has served as a state representative and a city council member.

She didn't worry that folks who don't like the former New York mayor might hold it against her in her own recently launched re-election campaign. "We all have opinions on who we like or don’t like," Fiorentino said. "After the primary, we'll all know who we're supporting. But until then, I'm supporting him."
