Hillsborough foundation has interim president

The Hillsborough Education Foundation has named Rebekah Heppner as interim president to replace Bill Hoffman, who resigned recently after eight years.
The nonprofit foundation works to bring business and community support to the Hillsborough County public schools. Heppner's credentials, according the foundation, are as follows:
* She has a consulting firm for non-profit organizations.
* She has a Ph.D in applied anthropology from the University of South Florida and an MBA from the University of Tampa.
* She's part of a research team at USF that is working on projects in public schools and universities statewide.
* She's experienced as a certified public accountant.
The foundation is still searching for a permanent president.
