Hillsborough gets another IB program
DOVER -- It's official: Strawberry Crest High School in Hillsborough has been approved to teach the International Baccalaureate's rigorous diploma program beginning this August.
As we reported last year, the school has been swamped with applicants for the program. It joins King, Robinson, and Hillsborough high schools, as well as the private Carrollwood Day School. The program is also offered for younger students at Williams Middle and MacFarlane Park and Lincoln elementary schools.
And the Hillsborough County school district shows no signs of slowing down; officials are planning to add IB candidate programs this fall at Roland Park and Walker middle schools.
