Now that teachers are fully versed in Empowering Effective Teachers, the Hillsborough County School District wants to make sure parents understand.

Monday evening at Chamberlain High School in north Tampa, Superintendent MaryEllen Elia and PTA Council President Melissa Erickson will give a presentation and take questions about the Gates-funded project, which provides mentoring and multiple-measure evaluations to teachers and other educational staff.

The event starts at 5:30 p.m. Chamberlain is at the corner of Busch and North boulevards.
