April

Crist Kendrick Meek 2 While lobbying against SB 6, many Florida school teachers talked quite a bit about repaying Charlie Crist with their votes if he offered up a veto -- perhaps even changing parties to do so.

Now that he's killed the bill, the conversation is already shifting. One frequent commenter on this blog has reminded readers to keep their promises, only to be rebuked with responses suggesting that no promises had been made. Appreciate the veto, gained respect for Crist, but still like Kendrick Meek.

So we put it to the Florida Education Association. Crist of the veto? Or Meek of the class size amendment?

Here's the response:

"No decision made yet on recommendations for the Senate race. The only early endorsement we made was of Sink for governor. We’ll hold candidate interviews after the session ends to decide on primary recommendations. General election recommendations will come later."

We're pretty sure Marco Rubio is out of the equation. Stay tuned.
