If not test scores, then what?
Yesterday, we asked whether teacher pay and evaluations should be tied to student test results. Most responses came back negative.
So then the natural question, asked today in a Teacher Magazine forum and repeated here for your thoughts, is "if not test scores, what?"
The magazine forum has generated some interesting ideas, such as portfolios. What's your recommendation for how to hold teachers accountable without relying on (often late) test results.
