Jackson, Lerner raise most cash in final sprint
Pinellas school board candidates Jim Jackson and Linda Lerner raised the most money in the last few weeks leading up to Election Day, the latest campaign finance reports show.
The reports, which cover the period from July 31 to Aug. 19, show District 7 candidate Jackson raised $4,259, while District 6 incumbent Lerner raised $2,676. Jackson loaned himself $1,000 during that period; Lerner loaned herself $1,200.
Jackson continued to lead all candidates with a total haul of $31,301, followed by District 2 candidate Terry Krassner with $24,997. Here are the latest tallies:
