Jeb on education
Ordinarily, a newspaper wouldn't bring you what amounts to third-hand information without all sorts of verification. But we at the Gradebook found this article, in which an Orlando Sentinel reporter writes about what an education trade mag quotes former governor Jeb Bush as saying about his role in changing Florida's school system, rather interesting.
The summary isn't too surprising. Jeb sticks by all that he did, with pride, though he offers some regrets that he didn't convince the naysayers to get on his reform train. Education Next, put out by the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, is to publish the full interview this week. Look for it. We will.
