JHOP students featured on PBS NewsHour report
Eighth-grader and student journalist De'Qonton Davis impressed us earlier this year with the way he and his John Hopkins Middle School in St. Petersburg classmates acted on his idea to make a video news report about school fights. Last night, as a part of its American Graduate series, PBS NewsHour spotlighted Davis and his classmates for their work and personal interest in the issue of youth violence. Here's the segment:
