John Hopkins Middle students weigh in on discipline story
At least 10 students from John Hopkins Middle have written letters to the editor after Monday's story about chaotic conditions at their school.
"If you wrote more stories about this issue, it might just help," wrote eighth-grader Justin Mosher. "I'm always worried about someone beating me up or stealing my bike every day!"
"I think that this story is just egging on more students to perform negative behavior, because they feel really cool because the school is in the paper, they might think 'oh I want to be in the paper,' " wrote Julia Mendez, a seventh-grader.
