Krassner campaign continues to roll
Pinellas school board candidate Terry Krassner raised $15,113 through March 31, according to campaign finance reports filed with the Pinellas supervisor of elections. Meanwhile, Fonda Huff, the only other candidate in the at-large District 2 race, raised no money from others but loaned herself $3,200.
(Huff filed to run in late February; Krassner, in early January.)
Krassner's contributors include former Pinellas Superintendent Howard Hinesley; Pinellas County Commissioner Susan Latvala; businessman/philanthropist Gus Stavros; and Irwin Novack, CEO of Kane's Furniture and chair of the Pinellas Education Foundation.
