The latest version of SB 6, maybe
It remains to be seen how closely the Senate and House will mimic Jeb Bush's Foundation for Florida's Future when they put together their respective teacher tenure/quality/pay bills this year. Early signals suggest there's room for more debate than last year.
But for what it's worth, the link below shows the latest version crafted by the FFF, which the House K-20 Competitiveness Subcommittee referenced in its hearing yesterday. (Amazingly enough, the hearing included testimony from FEA President Andy Ford and Duval teachers union president Terrie Brady.)
The foundation also showed a power point to committee members that highlighted the difference between current practice, SB 6 and its new proposal. We've posted that presentation before, but for convenience have attached it below.
