Make that a 198-day contract (instead of 199)

From a note PCTA just sent to members: In negotiations today, the Pinellas Classroom Teachers Association and the Pinellas County School Board reached agreement on the issue of the length of the current teacher contract. The 199 day instructional personnel contract has been reduced to 198 days. November 21, 2011, previously scheduled as a Professional Learning Day, will become a non-working day for current 199 day instructional personnel with no additional loss of pay. Negotiations will continue on critical issues such as teacher evaluation and compensation. Further negotiations are scheduled for later this month.
