Manatee student really wanted his cell phone
Some Florida schools let students use their cell phones and other electronic devices between classes and even during classes, with teacher permission. Some do not.
Lee Middle School in Manatee County is one that does not. And that didn't suit one student at all.
The Herald-Tribune reports that when his teacher took his phone, the student "lost his temper and threw a chair, charged the teacher, punched her and attacked another administrator who came to help."
