Michigan teen stands up to bullies
Whitney Kropp's high school classmates nominated her to serve on their Michigan high school's homecoming court as a joke.
She contemplated suicide. Instead, she showed up, resplendent in red, and sent a message to kids all over the country who get bullied and picked on in school: "The kids that are bullying, do not let them bring you down," she said. "Stand up for what you believe in, and go with your heart and go with your gut. That's what I did, and look at me now."
