New website highlights politicians' education positions

Stumped on which candidate to support in the upcoming Florida election? Fund Education Now wants to help.

The group, which has sued the state over what it considers low funding of public education, has launched Educated Voter to give Floridians some insights into candidates' positions on key education issues.

Broken down by county, the site rates politicians on their votes on Senate Bills 4 and 6, as well as Amendment 8. It also provides links to campaign finance information and candidate education platforms.

Fund Education Now offers its take on the issues, too. But cofounder Linda Kobert said the main goal is just to help voters make informed decisions.
