No Child Left Behind = more kids in prison?
According to this report, yes: "No Child Left Behind's 'get-tough' approach to accountability has led to more students being left behind, thus feeding the dropout crisis and the School-to-Prison Pipeline," it says.
Among the groups that put the report together: FairTest and the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. Among the groups endorsing it: The ACLU, Children's Defense Fund and National PTA.
