No Jeb school
So much for the "Jeb Bush College of Education" at UF.
The Senate Thursday passed a bill that names several university buildings in Florida after various donors and alumni, but nowhere in the language is the "Jeb Bush College of Education," as seen in the House version of the bill, which is headed to a floor vote. Rep. David Rivera, Republican, added the Jeb building into the House bill after UF faculty denied a proposal to make the former governor an honorary alumnus.
But Lakeland Republican Paula Dockery, the Senate bill sponsor and a UF graduate, was never keen on that idea.
