Presidential candidate Barack Obama will hold a fundraiser at FAMU today. President James Ammons is slated to introduce him for the event, which begins at noon in Gaither Gymnasium. Tickets are $20 for general admission, $10 for student with valid ID, and can be purchased at www.BarackObama.com or at the door. A FAMU press release notes the event is not university sponsored, and that while FAMU does not endorse presidential candidates, it is "open to any who wish to come."
