Palm Beach school says never mind to tardy policy
Yesterday we told you about a Palm Beach school's plan to suspend students for a day if they arrived late to class.
At least one reader called the idea ignorant.
Now the school is backing off.
The Palm Beach Post reports that the principal says the policy worked so well it's no longer needed. The change came the same day the Post reported on the rule, noting that parents criticized it and that it might violate state law and district policy. Coincidence? Nah.
