Pasco County charter school gets new leaders
Less than a month after the resignation of principal Maureen Moore, the Athenian Academy of Pasco County has announced its new leadership team.
Mary DeNicola and Ana Robledo will share the responsibilities of running the K-8 school of about 300 students.
DeNicola is one of the school's former teachers of the year, and is enrolled in a doctoral program in education leadership. She will be the principal. Robledo, who has been a teacher at the school, will become the assistant principal and middle school leader.
They take over immediately for Moore, who resigned after less than a year at the school to take care of some family matters.
