Pasco district's school supply drive to help nearly 700 teachers




The Pasco school district's three-day Stuff the Bus drive to collect supplies for classroom teachers proved a big success, judging by the tally of collections and support. By the numbers, the event looked like this:

$135,000 total supplies collected for 690 teachers at 80 schools, including: $100,000 in supplies from Kids Wish Network, $5,000 in cash and gift certificates that were used to buy supplies, and $30,000 in supplies donated from community at local Walmart and Publix locations

4 trucks and 8 movers, donated by Two Men and A Truck owner Ryan Knowles, for collecting and distributing supplies  

More than 1400 volunteers (students, parents, teachers, and community members)
