Pasco employee relations supervisor arrested
Bryan Jack, one of the Pasco County school district's employee relations supervisors, has been suspended from his job while under investigation for domestic battery and simple assault. Jack, 41, was arrested Saturday morning by the Sheriff's Office and later bonded out.
He is one of the people the district relies on to investigate wrongdoing by other district employees.
Jack also is lead negotiator for the district in the ongoing contract talks with the United School Employees of Pasco non-instructional side. Someone else from Employee Relations will handle bargaining when it resumes Tuesday, district spokeswoman Summer Romagnoli told the Gradebook.
USEP president Lynne Webb said she was not worried that negotiations over furloughs and other matters would founder with the change. She said she hoped Jack would be able to work out his personal situation positively.
