Pasco School Board, tax referendum results
The votes have been tallied in Pasco County, and the new-look School Board will include Cynthia Armstrong representing District 3, Alison Crumbley in District 4 and Steve Luikart from District 5. The incumbents for each seat did not seek reelection.
The board's request for permission to continue a .25-mill local option property tax for critical operating needs failed. That means the new board will have to find some way to make up the $5.5 million from that tax in next year's budget.
