Pasco Sunlake High School evacuates -- again
For the third time in two weeks, Sunlake High School in Land O'Lakes has received a bogus bomb threat that has disrupted classes.
Students and staff had to evacuate the school for an hour Tuesday morning, while law enforcement officers looked for a bomb, which wasn't there.
They also evacuated on Oct. 3, and had a lockdown on Sept. 30, because of bomb threats that were called in. After the one on Oct. 3, school families received robo-calls that even offered a reward.
"We are trying to get to the bottom of this," district spokeswoman Summer Romagnoli said, adding that the district is cooperating with the Sheriff's Office investigation. "It is disruptive."
