Pasco teacher with rare brain disorder seeks assistance
River Ridge High special education teacher Matthew Yarber had his first stroke when his wife Shari, also a teacher, was six months pregnant. He's had several since and was eventually diagnosed with a rare, progressive cerebrovascular disorder caused by blocked arteries at the base of his brain.
Surgery to correct the problem has failed. His condition worsens.
And his family seeks help covering the growing expenses and tending to household needs, such as babysitting and meals, as Shari returns to work Monday. Read his full story here.
