Pasco's unfair labor practices complaint hearing delayed
With layoffs and involuntary transfers in the works, neither the United School Employees of Pasco nor the Pasco County school district administration has much time to deal with other issues.
So the sides had no problem agreeing to put off their scheduled hearing on an unfair labor practices complaint dealing with the "skinny" periods at four county high schools.
"We got another continuance," employee relations director Kevin Shibley said via e-mail. "We are working on the current employment situation and agreed to delay the hearing to allow us to get through the current situation."
The assigned hearing officer has given the sides until the end of the week to request a new date for the proceedings.
