Pinellas asst. super applies to be Broward superintendent
Ron Ciranna, hired last fall to be Pinellas' assistant superintendent for human resources, is among the 44 candidates who have applied to be Broward County's next superintendent. (We mentioned that search in this morning's story about Pinellas' pending search.)
Ciranna served as superintendent of two small school districts in Michigan before becoming Polk County's assistant superintendent of human resources in 2007. He previously applied to be superintendent for two Florida districts, Polk and Charlotte.
