The Pinellas school district is partnering with the City of St. Petersburg to hold a half-day "Parent University" at USF-St. Petersburg on March 5. It'll include a slew of district administrators and more than a dozen sessions on everything from exploring a kindergarten class, to dealing with kids when they're angry, to finding extra help for students who are struggling academically.

The effort appears modeled on parent universities in other districts - and maybe one that we hear Pinellas did years ago. You can see the flyer for the event and a list of the sessions by clicking on the links below.
