Pinellas school board to consider new job for administrator
The Pinellas school board tomorrow will consider a new job for Janet Hernandez, the troubled administrator who is under investigation for helping her daughter's long-time boyfriend secure a district job. After the board rejected Superintendent Julie Janssen's pitch to move Hernandez from professional development to dropout prevention, Janssen recommended she become an ESE program specialist. District officials said the position was not posted.
The Hernandez item is one of many personnel recommendations on the board's consent agenda.
