Pinellas school board to honor its own
The Pinellas County School Board is honoring the Pinellas County School Board Tuesday.
Yes, that's right, as part of its Centennial Celebration, the Pinellas County School Board will honor its past and present members. Each former and current member will receive a proclamation during Tuesday's regular board meeting.
A press release about the event says, "The proclamation on behalf of the current School Board members honors every individual who has held the office of School Board member. They will be honored for their commitment and sacrifice to the welfare of students and families served by Pinellas County Schools."
The school district was founded in 1912.
