Pinellas students networking to rescue academic coaching money
At least four student-dominated Facebook pages have been created in recent days to persuade the Pinellas school district to back off plans to cut the academic coaching salary supplements for teachers in four elite magnet programs.
Give teachers their 14%!!! is one of them. Help Pinellas County Magnet Programs is another. Save Academic Coaching is another.
There's also this page, aimed at rallying the troops for a response of some sort at the next School Board meeting on May 25.
