Pinellas teachers' message to Crist: Nix bill 6
Members of the Pinellas Classroom Teachers Association will gather in three locations today with one resounding message they hope will get to their hometown Gov. Charlie Crist -- kill Senate Bill 6.
"I'm going to ask him to please do the right thing for students and Floridians," PCTA president Kim Black told the Gradebook. "Something of this magnitude needs time."
Want to join or just watch the protest? It begins at 4:30 p.m. at the corner of N. McMullen Booth Rd. and State Road 580 in Clearwater, the corner of Ulmerton Road and 66th Street in Largo and the corner of Tyrone Blvd. and 66th Street in St. Petersburg.
