Proposed boundary maps for eastern Pasco County schools now available
Parents interested in seeing whether their children might be moved out of crowded Wiregrass Ranch High and John Long Middle schools now can see the boundaries being recommended by a committee of school district staffers, parents and community members.
The maps went online over the weekend for review.
Committee members will be available to discuss the proposals during two public hearings, which are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Nov. 30 at Wiregrass Ranch High and 6:30 p.m. Dec. 7 at Stewart Middle School. The School Board, which can change the maps if it wants, is tentatively slated to have a first reading of the zones on Dec. 21 and final action on Jan. 18.
