Report: Teachers make way too much money
In light of recent budget cuts and policy changes in education, this new report pours gasoline on a fire. Released this week by the Heritage Foundation, it concludes that the typical public school teacher makes as much in salary as private-sector employees with similar skill levels, but more than 50 percent more if fringe benefits are considered.
