The parents of a 7-year-old Sessums Elementary School special needs student who died in January on a school bus released video of the incident at a news conference Thursday morning.

Lisa and Dennis Herrera claim the Hillsborough County school district violated the civil rights of their daughter Isabella when they did not properly position her in her wheelchair; did not monitor her during the bus ride; and did not provide medical care when Isabella started choking on Jan. 25.

She was pronounced dead the following day at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital.
