Robinson reflects on superintendent conflicts
We failed to mention this story in the morning's education news round-up. It's a piece about the recent spat between Superintendent John Stewart and school board attorney Jim Robinson that appeared in today's Times. At one point, Robinson, who will retire in August, reflected on other bumpy moments in his relationships with other Pinellas superintendents. From the story:
Robinson said he knows how this all looks to those who remember his quarrels with past superintendents. "I'm the common denominator," he said. "It's natural. I can understand why people would be concerned about that. I can explain it but explanation only goes so far."
