Webster, 39, fills a seat vacated by Chris Corr. Corr moved to the University of Florida Board of Trustees, taking the place of Tampa architect Carlos Alfonso.

Before joining Arcadian in 2008, Webster was the director of case management and admissions for Cornerstone Hospital, from 2006 to 2008, according to a news release. Prior to that, she was executive director of case management for Kindred Hospital from 2002 to 2005. She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the State University of New York Health Services Center and a master’s in health administration and policy from the University of Miami.

Her appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.

The board meets next week to consider universities' annual work-plans and requests for tuition differential hikes.
