Principals continue to move in Hillsborough County, some to fill vacancies and others to become coaches under the Principal Pipeline program.

At Tuesday's school board meeting, these new principals were named:

Beverly Smith, assistant principal of Bing Elementary School, to replace Julie Scardino at Edison Elementary.

Maria Gsell, assistant principal of Lennard High School, to replace Sharon Morris at East Bay High School.

Robert Jones, assistant principal of Town N Country Elementary, to replace Lisa Maltezos at Claywell Elementary.

Heath Beauregard, assistant principal of Chamberlain High School, to replace Odalys Pritchard of Adams Middle.

Lynn Roberts, principal of USF-Patel Partnership Elementary School, to replace Larry Sykes at Lockhart Elementary.

Dallas Jackson, principal Thurgood Marshall Fundamental Middle School in Pinellas County, to replace Shaylia McRae of Martinez Middle School.
